early december

Right now a wild December warm front is gracing our land. I'm not sure if this is a good or bad thing. But, we decided to take advantage of it, anyway. Especially the no coat part. We spent a good bit of our day outside and we watched as papa did his farming job and planted some garlic in the garden. I had to watch Sage carefully because she likes to play in the gravel and I'm always so worried she's going to sneak small pebbles in her mouth. She thinks about it, I tell you. I know she thinks about it.

The sky here was a mixture of grey and blue. I noticed little rays of sunshine passing through the clouds as the day pressed on. And as the sun was setting, I thought maybe Sage and I could watch the colors change together on our blanket. Enough to actually go inside and collect the blanket and some toys to try and make it happen.

She stayed here for a little bit, but then had to move on to do other activities. These days my baby girl is on the go, on the go. She needs to run and play and explore. I love this, I really do. I guess I'm just a bit caught off guard at times with how active these little ones can be. The baby lifestyle sure is a busy one!

and on a completely different note....
This month, a year ago, I started this blog. So happy blogging anniversary to me!
