DC adventure

Pretty colors welcomed us! And Sage would also say interesting textures:)

the warm sunshine
and a peacefully sleeping baby
made our lunch trip a relaxing one

Me: "Hey! Before I go do you want to try and take a picture of us jumping?"
Kathleen: "Well sure, why not?"
So then I put that camera of mine on a 10 second timer, and we jumped!
and had to jump again.
We wanted a photo of us BOTH in the air, damnit!
Ah, too sloww...
almost...
Ha,oh gosh! Not quite.
 Maybe next time:)
About thirty minutes into my trip home, Sage woke up crying and was hungry.
Thankfully a McDonald's sign appeared right when I needed it. I don't think I could have switched lanes any faster. I needed that exit. I needed a parking lot to change and feed my baby.
I'm not surprised she needed me while I was driving home, it seems little interruptions that kind of steer me away from the task at hand is a reoccurring trait to my motherhood. But in the end, I feel moments like that help strengthen my patience.
So, I park.
Take a deep breath.
Welcome her with a happy smile.
Change and feed.
Now that she was awake. I got to show her the bunny I got her.
It's her little souvenir from our first trip together

and mine
