I forgot to mention that I did finish my cookbook. Everybody seemed to love it, and most of all I could tell my Grandmother was happy I got it all together. The book itself is quite simple looking. There are only about 14 recipes in it (but all very yummy and symbolic of my gmas cooking). The cover of the cookbook is a picture of parsley. She evidently really loves this herb because it was in just about every recipe I typed up for her. And it was actually the only herb she ever used! What can i say....she is a simple woman with a simple cooking style:)

Here's a couple pictures of the fairy tree house Kyle made for the little girl I nanny. She told us she wanted a "fairy castle" for her little fairies to play in. The pictures don't do the project justice- the sticks that hold up the platforms have a lot of detail in them that my camera wasn't able to capture. And when he was completely done, he draped a pretty sheer green fabric over the sticks.
