Nothing new here. The weather has warmed up again. Winter left us as quickly as she came. The only signs of her these days are cool winds...those bright blue, cloudless skies and 50 to 60 degree weather surely make her presence unknown to us. Maybe she is just waiting til February to throw down. Who knows.
All I know is that Kyle starts work next week. We are so happy to see him get back to work. It will be a bit sad to see him leave us, as we have been spending most of our days and hours together. But, daddy's gotta bring home the bacon. We need a new place to live. I need more windows....I need natural light! So, off to work he will go, willingly and happily.
I will stay with my baby girl. I've got to say, there is nothing mundane about watching her each day. She is growing like a weed! And apparently is needing more to eat these days.
The past two nights she has wanted to eat at such strange hours.
Hours that cause me to stumble out of bed- half asleep- with messy bed head all over the place- wondering..."whattt...you want to eat NOW! It's 2:45 in the morning! And you want milk??"
( It's so cute, though. Because while I say this in my head, she looks at me and gives me the biggest smile) Of course, I give that sweet thing what she wants. I usually assume she will be happy and sleep well and wake up next at a more proper time.
But, no. Suddenly, 5:45 rolls around, and this baby girl is wanting her milk YET again! really?!
Okay, this time it's not cute:)
I've got to say, four months into being a mommy....I sure am getting better with functioning at spontaneous moments during the night. One second my mind will be immersed in a dream, and the next I'm changing a poopy diaper.
Poof! just like that!
Also, I would like to note
......she did it!
She got to this position all by herself! It took a lot of strength and determination on her part, but she made it...and decided to stay awhile:)
